IN-STUDIO:

  • No street shoes on the dance floor - for Hip Hop shoes should be clean on the bottom

  • Chewing gum is not allowed in class

  • Be prepared and on time for class

  • Appropriate hair and attire must be worn to class

  • No horse playing or running in the studio

  • Do not leave students unattended outside of studio

  • No food or drinks allowed on the dance floor, except water

  • Be respectful of teachers adults and other students

ATTIRE

BALLET: Leotards, leggings, fitted tanks, biketards, booty shorts. Ballet Slippers on the feet. Outfits should be fitted so that we are able to see dancers ankles, knees, and hips. Baggy sweatshirts, t-shirts, and sweatpants WILL be asked to be removed. Hair should be securely out of the face for all classes. Anything that would be distracting to dancers, jewelry etc. should be removed for class.
JAZZ+LYRICAL+CONTEMPORARY: Please NO JEANS, outfits can reflect personal style but, must not inhibit dancers ability to move. Think clean lines and fitted, baggy clothing may be asked to be removed. Hair should be securely out of the face for all classes. Pirouettes, jazz shoes, dance socks, and bare feet are all acceptable footwear. Anything that would be distracting to dancers, jewelry etc. should be removed for class.
TAP: Tap shoes. Clothing should not inhibit movmement and ankles/feet should be visible.
HIP HOP: clean tennis shoes and comfortable clothing— sweatpants, leggings, shorts, tees, tanks, hair up and out of the face, unless instructor allows to be taken down.

MONTHLY TUITION:

Tuition is due the 1st of every month. Tuition is the same whether it is a long (5 lesson) month or short (3 lesson) month and regardless of absences. There will be no refunds given, but dancers are welcome to make up a class within the same month. Tuition is not prorated for Holiday months. May be paid by cash, check, or card in Mindbody.  You may enroll in autopay which charges your card on file your monthly tuition on the first of each month September-June. Changes to autopay need to be made by the 25th of the prior month, see the Autopay Add/Drop Form.

DROP-IN

Drop-in is due at the time of class. This payment option allows flexibility when it comes to schedule. The Punch card is good for any drop-in classes, excludes Master Classes, Camps and Workshops. NOTE EXPIRATION DATES ON PUNCHCARDS After the card expires you will need to purchase a new card. There are no refunds for unused punch cards. Card usage and expiration date can be located in your MindBody account.

Actual dates usually coincide with school Holiday closures, but could vary a bit, they will always be posted on our website. The studio may have additional closures during the year, but will be communicated and posted. The Studio is open for classes on MLK Day, President’s Day, Juneteenth

Spring Showcase will be approximately the third or fourth weekend in June, details about the Spring Showcase will be sent out later. 

INCLEMENT WEATHER

There are classes during teacher inservice days, however, we will follow the Tigard-Tualatin School district for weather closures. If school is cancelled or let out early, classes that day would be canceled. If school only starts late classes will go on as planned. If questionable we will communicate via email, website, or on the studio voicemail. 

FEES

Costume Fees: are required for classes participating in Spring Showcase. Costume fees are due January you will be notified of exact amount. Costume fees this year are $100/costume. Costumes will be ordered in January/February any costume fees not paid in full at that time will not be ordered. There are no refunds or cancellations for costumes once they are ordered.
