STUDIO POLICIES

IN STUDIO

Be prepared and on time for class, with appropriate hair, attire, and water bottle

No street shoes,chewing gum, food, or drinks allowed on the dance floor, except water

No horse playing or running in the studios + lobby

Keep noise levels low in waiting rooms and lobbies while other classes are in session

Do not leave dancers unattended outside of studio

Throw away all trash and pick up personal belongings before leaving

Be respectful of teachers, adults, and other dancers

ATTIRE

We want your dancer to look and feel their best so for those reasons…
PLEASE NO | Excessive Jewelry, Jeans, Street Clothes, Accessories (Hair bows or clips OK)
HAIR | Should be up and out of the dancers face so as not a distraction, half pony if short, ponytails, braids.

TINY DANCE | Ballet Shoes or Bare Feet
Leotard, Biketard, Leotard with attached skirt. Leggings or shorts can be worn with leo, tights optional

BALLET | Ballet Shoes
Leotard+Tights, Biketard, ballet skirt, fitted leggings, fitted shorts, fitted tank or top. LINES MUST BE VISIBLE–No Baggy/oversized clothing. We need to see ankles, knees, hips and ribs.

TAP | Black Mary Jane Style Taps for Ages 2-7, Oxford Black Tie Ups Ages 7+
Fitted athletic wear shorts, leos, leggings, pants, tops

JAZZ + LYRICAL + CONTEMPORARY | Barefoot, Pirouettes, or Jazz Shoes
Fitted athletic wear shorts, leos, leggings, pants, tops

HIP HOP | Clean Tennis Shoes
Sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, shorts, tanks, oversized allowed as long as it doesn't impair movement.

ACRO | Barefoot
Fitted Leos, Biketards, shorts, tanks, leggings. We are upside down a lot, so fitted is best for upside down + spotting.

Tuition

Is due the 1st of every month. Tuition is the same whether it is a long (5 lesson) month or short (3 lesson) month and regardless of absences. There will be no refunds given, but dancers are welcome to make up a class within the same month. Tuition is not prorated for Holiday months. May be paid by cash, check, or card in Mindbody. You may enroll in autopay which charges your card on file your monthly tuition on the first of each month September-June. Changes to autopay need to be made by the 25th of the prior month, see the Autopay Add/Drop Form.

AUTOPAY ADD/DROP FORM

DROP-IN

Drop-in is due at the time of class. This payment option allows flexibility when it comes to schedule. The Punch card is good for any drop-in classes, excludes Master Classes, Camps and Workshops. NOTE EXPIRATION DATES ON PUNCHCARDS After the card expires you will need to purchase a new card. There are no refunds for unused punch cards. Card usage and expiration date can be located in your MindBody account.

5 Class Punch Cards $115.00 ( Expires 2 months from purchase)
10 Class Punch Card $220 ( Expires 6 months from purchase)
20 Class Punch Card $400 (Expires 1 year from purchase)

IMPORTANT DATES

Actual dates usually coincide with school Holiday closures, but could vary a bit, they will always be posted on our website. The studio may have additional closures during the year, but will be communicated and posted. The Studio is open for classes on MLK Day, President’s Day, Juneteenth

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the case of inclement weather we will look at Tigard-Tualatin and Sherwood School Districts to help determine if we should close for weather. If instructors can safely make it in we will generally hold classes for those who can safely make it to the studio. Make-ups are accepted, but there are no refunds for missed classes due to inclement weather. We will always try to communicate ahead of time through social media channels and email. No news is generally good news, meaning if you don’t hear from us and we haven’t posted anything classes are happening!

FEES

Class Tuition/Drop-In: Please see Tuition Rates

Costume Fees: are required for classes participating in Spring Showcase. Costume fees are due May 1st and you will be notified of exact amount. Any costume fees not paid in full at that time will not be ordered. There are no refunds or cancellations for costumes once they are ordered.
