More about our competitive companies…
Competitive Company is for Dancers 10-18 years of age, looking to push their training to the next level. They will represent the studio at local competitions and events. Dancers will be chosen through an audition process and upon acceptance into the company, dancers make the commitment to put their dance training and fellow company members as top priorities. No dancer is required to be a member of the company, therefore, participation is considered a privilege and honor. It is important dancers and parents/guardians understand this commitment and obligation ahead of time. Company members are able to pursue other activities as long as competitions and training stay a priority, it is definitely possible to do both High School dance team and Company!
Groups will be assigned based on audition and continued class assesment. Dancers placements are based on technical skill, commitment, attitude, and maturity. We are looking to expand our Company and therefore will be accepting new members through private auditions until December. At that point auditions and Company will be closed until the following year.
